Poltu Quatu Marina dell'Orso is an inlet marked on the nautical charts as Stintino dell'Orso. It is located between the bay of Liscia di Vacca and Baja Sardinia, opposite the island of Caprera and the small island of Cappuccini. The Marina can be approached from Capo Ferro lighthouse situated two miles NE of the Marina entry point.

The particular fiord’s conformation, sheltered from the excesses of sea and wind, makes Poltu Quatu the ideal landing place for boats, while his strategic position permits to achieve in a few km the marvellous islands of La Maddalena, Santa Maria, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli, and after a short trip the beautiful Corsica.
